Unfortunately, because of our early starts in combination with notorious delays of the airports, it is not possible to dive on the day that you arrive.
Whilst we are happy to try and accommodate requests for dive sites, please note that this is not always possible due to course scheduling and ocean conditions.
The biggest medical problems that may prevent you from diving are asthma, diabetes, recent surgery, high blood pressure and certain prescription medications. If you are concerned, please refer to our medical statement here. If you answer yes to any of the questions, it’s best to get a signed statement from your personal doctor before visiting.
Lombok has two seasons: wet (November–March) and dry (April–October). Even in rainy season, it rarely pours all day, and diving continues as normal. Kuta Lombok is great year-round, though the busiest months are July–October and the Christmas/New Year period. For the best mix of great weather and fewer crowds, aim for April, May, or November.
If you haven’t been diving in a while (over 6 months), we ask you to sign up for a refresher course. A quick review or pool session just before your dive can help you become comfortable with your dive skills and equipment.
Our standard tanks are interchangeable between YOKE and DIN, meaning we can change our tanks according to your needs.

Yes, there are a few small clinics in Kuta. We recommend Blue Island Clinic and they are great if you need a medical signature declaring you fit for diving. For serious injuries or health care issues we recommend visiting a hospital, the closest international hospital and recompression chamber is in Mataram, Lombok.

When travelling in Indonesia, a few simple customs go a long way. You’ll often be asked to remove your shoes before entering homes or small businesses—if you see a bunch of sandals at the door, follow the lead. Avoid pointing with your feet or touching someone’s head, as both are considered disrespectful. When greeting someone, use your right hand, since the left is traditionally seen as less polite.
On dive boats and beaches, bikinis are totally fine. Just keep in mind that going topless or wearing very revealing swimwear isn’t culturally appropriate. When you’re off the beach and wandering around town, throw on a sarong or light cover-up out of respect for local norms.
