Our Story

Blue Marlin Dive Kuta is the newest PADI 5 Star Dive Centre to join the Blue Marlin family, based right in the heart of Kuta Lombok—the island’s famous surf town on the South Coast. Only 20 minutes from Lombok International Airport, you’ll find yourself steps from Kuta Beach and perfectly positioned for a brand-new underwater adventure.

Kuta Lombok has its own charm: a surfy, laid-back town packed with healthy-foodie restaurants, boutique shops, and endless ways to explore. Above the surface you’ve got watersports, paragliding, biking trails, waterfall trips, pink beaches and more. Below the surface awaits pristine coral reefs, dramatic walls, caves, and swim-throughs!

From our centre, Blue Marlin takes you along the scenic coastal road from Kuta to Telong Elong—water buffalos included—to reach our boat and dive the wild, unspoiled South-East Coast of Lombok. This is truly off-the-beaten-path diving: untouched reefs, pelagic life, and topography that keeps every dive exciting. Suitable for both beginners and advanced divers, the area has already delivered reef sharks, turtles, sea snakes, manta rays, dolphins, oceanic sunfish—even a whale shark and a blue whale in our first few months of exploration.
