The PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is the easiest way to try scuba diving without committing to a full certification course.
You'll learn the basics with an experienced PADI Instructor before heading underwater for two dives in the reefs of South Lombok.
No previous diving experience. No certification required. Just one unforgettable day discovering a completely new world.
One day. Two dives. Your first underwater adventure.
Start beforehand with a short PADI eLearning session at your own pace. On your diving day, your instructor will introduce you to the equipment, breathing underwater and a few basic skills before you take your first dive.
Enter the water with your PADI Instructor and practise a few essential skills before beginning your underwater adventure.
Once you're comfortable, it's time to explore. Enjoy two dives and experience the reefs and marine life of South Lombok for the first time.
Discover Scuba Diving is designed specifically for beginners, with a maximum of four participants per instructor.
Once you've learned the basics, it's time to discover the underwater world of South Lombok.
Your dives take place in the Alas Strait and around the protected Tanjung Ringgit coastline, a wild and little-dived corner of Southeast Lombok.
Tropical reefs, colourful marine life and varied underwater landscapes make an incredible setting for your first dives.
We choose the most suitable dive sites each day according to ocean conditions. Specific dive sites and marine life can never be guaranteed.

Meet us at Blue Marlin Dive Kuta, get fitted with your equipment and meet the instructor who'll be with you throughout the experience.

Your instructor will explain how your scuba equipment works, how to breathe underwater and the basic safety guidelines for your first dives.

Enter the water with your instructor, practise a few simple scuba skills and take your first breaths underwater.
Once you're comfortable, it's time to explore.

After a surface interval, head back underwater for your second dive, more relaxed, more confident and ready to enjoy the experience.
Return to Kuta approximately 15:00-16:00.

If you want to keep diving, your next step is the PADI Open Water Diver Course — your first internationally recognised scuba certification.
That's why we keep our Discover Scuba Diving groups small, with a maximum of four participants per instructor.
Our experienced PADI professionals take you through the experience step by step, giving you time to get comfortable before you explore the underwater world.

No. Discover Scuba Diving is specifically designed for people who have never scuba dived before.
You should be comfortable in the water, but you don't need to be an experienced swimmer. Your instructor stays with you throughout the experience.
The minimum age for Discover Scuba Diving is 10 years old.
Discover Scuba Diving has a maximum depth of 12 metres. Your instructor will gradually increase the depth depending on your comfort, ability and conditions.
That's completely normal. Your instructor will explain everything before you enter the water and give you time to become comfortable with the equipment and breathing underwater. There's no need to rush.
We take a maximum of four Discover Scuba Diving participants per instructor.
All the scuba equipment you need is included: BCD, regulator, mask, wetsuit and fins.
No. Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory scuba experience, not a certification course. If you'd like to become a certified diver, the next step is the PADI Open Water Diver Course.
Yes. You'll complete a standard diver medical questionnaire before diving. Depending on your answers, you may need medical clearance from a doctor before participating.

Yes, your partner/friend can definitely come snorkeling on the boat and a dedicated guide will be provided. The itinirary is the same and the price is 945,000 IDR per person.
