At Blue Marlin Dive Kuta Lombok, you'll learn step by step with an experienced PADI Instructor before completing your first ocean dives in the reefs of South Lombok.

Complete your course and earn your PADI Open Water Diver certification.
You'll be qualified to dive to 18 metres with a buddy, opening the door to dive adventures around the world.
Designed for complete beginners, your course combines online learning, pool training and four ocean dives with a maximum of four students per instructor.
Once you've completed your pool training, it's time to head to the reefs of South Lombok.
Your training dives take place in the Alas Strait and around the protected Tanjung Ringgit coastline.
Tropical reefs, colourful marine life and varied underwater landscapes make an incredible setting for your first dives.
We choose the most suitable dive sites each day according to ocean conditions and the students in the group, so specific sites and marine life are never guaranteed.

No. The PADI Open Water Course is designed for complete beginners. Your instructor will teach you everything step by step, starting in the swimming pool before you move into the ocean.
You don't need to be an athlete, but you do need basic swimming ability. You'll need to complete a 200-metre swim (or 300 metres using mask, snorkel and fins) and float or tread water for 10 minutes.
The minimum age for the PADI Open Water Course is 10 years old.
The practical course takes three days, plus approximately 5–6 hours of PADI eLearning completed before you begin.
Your first Open Water dives are limited to 12 metres. During the course you'll progressively train to a maximum depth of 18 metres, subject to age and PADI training standards.
That's completely normal for first-time divers. Your first in-water training takes place in our swimming pool, where you can learn and practise at a comfortable pace before heading into the ocean.
All the scuba equipment required for your course is included: BCD, regulator, mask, wetsuit and fins.
Meet us at Blue Marlin Dive Kuta Lombok. Day 1 begins at 08:30, while Days 2 and 3 begin at 07:45.
Safety comes first. If conditions aren't suitable for training, we'll adjust the plan where possible. If Blue Marlin cancels the activity because of weather, our weather cancellation policy applies.
Yes. You'll complete a standard diver medical questionnaire before diving. Depending on your answers, you may need medical clearance from a doctor before participating.
We take a maximum of four students per instructor.
Yes, your partner/friend can definitely come snorkeling on the boat and a dedicated guide will be provided. The itinirary is the same and the price is 945,000 IDR per person.
